Build Barter Destroy
These events are generally held twice a year, once in Spring and once in late Summer, and allow fellow wastelanders to gather for working on projects, trade or sell gear, and ultimately let off some steam.
Destroy
In order to achieve the aesthetic of living in a post apocalyptic world, it usually means some form of distressing which makes everything look weathered and worn. Everything from costumes, weapons, tools, and even our vehicles are distressed and modified in order to appear plucked from an alternate world of desolation and apocalypse. It's super fun for children too!
Build & Barter
During the day the tables come out and are piled high with post apocalypse themed gear used to craft costumes, weapons, and other props. While some items are for sale using "old world" money, most items are available for barter.
In addition to bartering there are always helpful craftsman on hand to assist with costuming, repairs, and building themed props and accessories in preparation for the larger events.
After dark
When the sun goes down the fires go up and the party begins. It's a great chance for wastelanders to interact and unwind. Adult beverages are consumes and war stories are shared. While things can get eventful, for the most part it's a chill time with friends that can last until morning.
